About Dominic Silver

Dominic Silver, was born as Roy van Deursen on the 1st of April in a small town near Breda, the hometown of many great DJ's like Tiesto. After being raised with music, Dominic started at a young age by organizing his own birthday parties, from 6 years old, and plays music there. When he went into high school, he kept on going on this level. By playing at his own school parties, Dominic got comfortable in a lot of different music styles. By going out, Dominic met a lot of experienced dj's who motivated him to do much more. Far before the dj scene became an hype in Holland, he decided at an early age, this is what he wanted to do for as long as possible!

On his 16th birthday he had enough money saved to buy his first vinyl record players and a mixer. After buying his first records, he was ready to go! He started to make noise in his own bedroom and not long after that, the very same guy(s) who motivated him, gave him the chance to show his skills for the first time at club Zalinaz in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands. Not many youngsters got the chance to start of in a club with a capacity of 1500 party people and he took this opportunity with both hands!

After this everything went hard. Dominic is one of the most versatile dj's in the field and made a choice in 2007 to focus on House music. Also at Zalinaz, he started under the name Dominic Silver. He took the place as resident at this club. As the time went by, he played at several big clubs like Time-Out in Gemert, NL, the Zenith in Venray, NL. He also showed his skills at several big festivals in the Netherlands. Even abroad he let the people move, for example in Belgium and France. Dominic had big fun sharing the stage with big names like Afrojack, Hardwell, R3hab, Chuckie, Marco V, Laidback Luke, Quintino, Funkerman, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Erick E, Rene Amesz, Gregor Salto, Roog, Ralvero, Vato Gonzales, La Fuente & many more.

2013 is going to be a big year for Dominic. His first records will come out and he will be working on a lot of exciting collaborations with colleague dj's. Also this year will be the start of a lot of international showcases as he makes his way to the East of Europe. Dominic will continue his residence in Breda, NL and also he will continue playing one of the most luxurious events of Holland: Sunday Lounge.

Dominic will use his experience to make the world dance. He will make the dance floor color Silver!
